Phasemation EA-2000 Tube Phono Amplifier
DESCRIPTION
The EA-2000 is Phasemation's statement phono amplifier — a completely monaural, non-feedback LCR design spread across six separate chassis: independent left and right step-up transformers, EQ amplifiers, and power supplies. Each equalizer stage runs an ECC-803S SRPP circuit paired with a 6922 cathode-follower output, all non-feedback, feeding a hand-wound LCR equalization network that avoids the phase and noise penalties of active RIAA correction. Three curve settings (RIAA/Mono 1/Mono 2) support both stereo and vintage mono pressings.
The power supply uses 5U4G rectifier tubes and dual R-core transformers per channel for a dead-quiet noise floor, and the whole system rides on TAOC insulators with a walnut base plinth. Winner of the Stereo Sound Grand Prix and HiFi Review (Hong Kong) Product of the Year, both in 2020/2021.
