Shipping policy

Once your audio equipment is tested and packed to perfection, it’s time to ship it out. We coordinate the shipping process to be as quick and secure as possible. With 20+ years of experience shipping high-end audio gear “around the corner and across the globe,” we know how to choose the best carriers and methods for each situation. Here’s what to expect when we ship your item:

Trusted Carriers
We ship packages via reputable, trackable services like, FedEx, or USPS. We’ll pick the carrier that offers the best combination of speed, handling, and reliability for your particular item and location. Over the years we’ve built relationships and have access to competitive shipping rates, which we pass directly on to you – we don’t pad our shipping costs. If your item is being delivered within our region and is especially delicate, we might even use a specialty courier or “white glove” service to hand-deliver it. No matter who carries the package, we stay involved every step of the way.

Fast Turnaround
We don’t waste any time getting your purchase on its way. In most cases, as soon as your payment clears, we’ll usually have the item on the road within one business day. (If an item requires extremely intricate packing or crating, it could take up to three days to prepare – but we’ll keep you updated.) We’ll send you the tracking number right away so you can follow the shipment. Our warehouse is very experienced at efficiently processing orders, so you won’t be left waiting. We know you’re excited to receive your new gear, and we share that excitement – so we move quickly!

Full Insurance & Protection
Every shipment from us is fully insured for its value most often through a 3rd party. On the off chance that something does happen in transit (which is extremely rare with our packing), you’re covered. We will work with our insurer to handle any claims and solve the problem, but you won’t be left holding the bag. Our customers often tell us our proactive support gives them peace of mind. Essentially, until you have your equipment safely in hand and in good shape, we’re not going to consider the job done.

Freight for Oversized Items
For very large or heavy pieces of equipment – think giant floor-standing speakers or an 100-pound power amplifier – standard parcel shipping isn’t the safest option. In these cases, we utilize freight shipping on a pallet. The item (already cocooned in protective padding) gets strapped securely to a wooden pallet, sometimes even bolted down, and shipped via freight truck. This method avoids the chance that your item gets thrown from a delivery truck. Instead, your gear stays stationary on its pallet, and the entire pallet is loaded and unloaded with forklifts. It greatly reduces the chance of drops or severe jolts. It’s a bit more involved, but when you’re shipping something like a pair of rare 150-pound speakers, this extra caution is worth it. (If you ever purchase an item from us that we feel is better shipped via freight, we’ll coordinate all the details with you beforehand.)

Careful Coordination
We schedule pickups and deliveries to minimize transit time and avoid weekend warehousing whenever possible. If weather or holidays might impact the journey, we consider those factors as well. Our team monitors the tracking until we see that you’ve received the item. Rest assured, we’re as anxious as you are to see that delivery status show “Delivered – Signature Obtained.” In the unlikely event of a delay or issue, we’ll proactively reach out and assist in sorting it out. Communication is key.
