Adam Wexler's passion for music, technology, and high-fidelity audio began during his college years. Embracing the dawn of ecommerce and a new start up company called eBay, he started buying and selling hi-fi equipment directly from his dorm room, thus laying the foundation for his future endeavors while simultaneously assembling the coolest stereo system on campus.
In 1999, Adam officially launched StereoBuyers, a company dedicated to purchasing and reselling hi-fi equipment. Initially operating from his college dormitory, the business quickly gained traction, serving both individual audiophiles and businesses looking to sell vintage or high-end stereo equipment.
In 2009 building on the success of StereoBuyers, his entrepreneurial spirit, and always looking for his next challenge, Adam expanded his ventures and formed Resolution Audio Video (RAV), specializing in designing and installing high-end audio, video, and home automation systems tailored to luxury residences in the New York City area.
Adam's approach to business is rooted in honesty and a deep interest and understanding of his clients needs. He believes in educating them so they feel empowered to make informed decisions. A consultative approach rather than pushy sales.
Overall…people over profit. The team he has assembled has an ownership mentality… if a client isn’t happy they aren’t happy. This philosophy has been a cornerstone of his success, fostering trust and long-term relationships with clients.
When it comes to hi-fi systems, his philosophy is a refreshing one. He emphasizes the importance of personal preference in audio equipment, advising clients to choose what resonates with them personally.
