Phasemation MA-5000 WE-211 Monaural Power Amplifier
DESCRIPTION
The MA-5000 is Phasemation's response to a straightforward request: build the best amplifier possible around the 211 output tube. A parallel single-ended, pure Class-A pair of PSVANE WE-211 tubes — each on its own dedicated fixed-bias supply — is driven through Lundahl interstage transformers by a PSVANE WE-300B stage, resulting in 45W+ of output with the harmonic character 211-tube amplifiers are known for.
The design carries Phasemation's full non-feedback, all-triode philosophy (ECC803 + 300B + WE-211), dual independent power transformers for driver and output stages, dual parallel 5R4G rectifiers, and a one-minute power-up delay timer. The cloisonné-decorated front tube cover is a distinctive design touch. Winner of the Stereo Sound Grand Prix 2023 and Analog Grand Prix Gold Award 2024. Build-to-order.
