Phasemation SA-1500 300B Stereo Integrated Amplifier

The SA-1500 brings Phasemation's single-ended 300B expertise — first proven in the monaural MA-1500 power amplifier — into a complete stereo integrated amplifier. A self-biased, pure Class-A 300B output stage is driven by a 6SN7 in a simple two-stage, fully non-feedback triode circuit, chosen deliberately to let the 300B's inherent character come through without correction.

Output transformers are sourced from Lundahl of Sweden and tapped for 4–8Ω speakers, while independent dual power choke transformers per channel eliminate left/right crosstalk. A “DIRECT mode” on input 1 bypasses the volume control entirely, letting the SA-1500 run as a pure stereo power amp. Winner of the Stereo Sound Grand Prix 2024 and Analog Grand Prix Gold Award.
