DESCRIPTION
The MA-1500 is a purer, simpler take on Phasemation's 300B expertise: a single (not parallel) 300B output tube run in self-biased pure Class-A, driven through a Toshiba 6CG7 stage via a Lundahl transformer coupling for stable, unwavering speaker drive.
The fully non-feedback, all-triode signal path (5814A + 6CG7 + 300B) and independent power transformers for input, driver, and output stages keep the amplifier's 10W+ output clean and dynamic despite the modest power figure — the hallmark of a well-executed single-ended triode design. Winner of the Stereo Sound Grand Prix Award in 2017.
