The Nagra PREAMP II-S introduces the new Series II, positioned between the Classic and HD lines and designed to deliver reference-inspired performance in a refined, compact form. Rooted in Nagra’s professional recording heritage, it places absolute priority on sound quality while remaining ideally suited to modern living spaces.
The PREAMP II-S marks the return of the legendary Nagra Modulometer™,offering precise visual monitoring of channel levels and reinforcing the brand’s iconic identity. Drawing from mechanical solutions developed for Nagra’s Reference turntable and electronics, a phenolic damping layer beneath the aluminum top cover provides advanced vibration control, contributing to exceptional sonic stability and clarity.
A new generation of tubes, shared with Nagra’s Classic Phono, HD, and Reference series, delivers enhanced transparency, refined micro-detail, and lifelike dynamics. Designed with silence as a guiding principle, the PREAMP II-S achieves a dynamic range greater than 125 dB, allowing music to emerge with depth, contrast, and natural flow.
