DESCRIPTION
The CS-1200 is Phasemation's premium headshell, machined from duralumin and finished with DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating for increased surface hardness and superior vibration damping versus its CS-1000 predecessor, at roughly 10% less weight.
The same dual-bolt shell/connector fastening and two-pin direct-contact terminal design used across Phasemation's headshell line improve mechanical coupling to the tonearm, while PC-TripleC lead wires — a step up from the CS-900's 4N copper — and a brass finger lift complete the build. Winner of the Audio Accessory Excellence Award 2023.
